OMG it’s the Twilight Track . In case anyone didn’t know, vampires are sexy. Except the rugged looking ones with pony tails, crew cuts or tattoos – they’re trouble. But the pretty boy vampires with taut Abercrombie & Fitch bodies and good skin and maybe a hint of make-up, they’re sexy as all giddy-up. They only suck blood as a kind of embarrassing hobby, and only out of things that wouldn’t mind, like bums, alcoholics, and sleeping cows. They’re in touch with their feelings, they’re intriguing loners, and sex comes way down on their list of favourite activities, below eating pizza and watching The OC and fighting the forces of evil. To a teenage girl audience,pretty boy vampires might as well be Brad Pitt slathered in chocolate syrup playing the guitar solo from Black Magic Woman. If you have a teenage sister, she wants to get felt up by apretty boy vampire. You must accept this.

Twilight of course is based on a best selling novel, is going to take bazillions of dollars, the trailer was watched 3.1 million times on MySpace in the space of 5 days (MySpace being Zion for vampire loving teenage girls), and according to Kristen Stewart, who plays the lead, “people dream about this book”. These people do not soundtrack their dreams with Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine and Cat Stevens (more’s the pity), so you can’t really argue with Muse and Paramore being on the Twilight soundtrack. It’s a no-brainer. Personally I’d pay to see the vampire film soundtracked by Cat Stevens, but I’m a guy in my mid-to-late twenties and I have no desire to be felt up by a teenage vampire,pretty boy or otherwise.

The Twilight Soundtrack is an emo album. Emo riffs, a thematic landscape evoking tragic love, loss, angst – a kind of melancholic passionate adolescent love and lust. Linkin Park are on there. So if you’re wearing bright summer colours and sipping on an ice tea, this isn’t the album for you. It’s about getting out the bad stuff. A couple of tracks, it must be said, surpass the general tone – Iron & Wine are an interesting jangly modern folk outfit and their inclusion is, I think, a welcome note of variance from the emo riffs. Still, My Parents Don’t Understand Me AndVampires Are Good At Kissing should be the album title.

So hot the emo fashion, do you want emo???This is a guide on how to dress "emo". For the most part, it's simple and straight-forward. Dressing emo does not make you emo. There is a difference.

Get a hair style that is dyed black or some other dark color. Blonde is good too, just be sure to dress like all the other emos, so everyone can see that you too are non conformist. Also consider a bob-cut. Putting bright colors(e.g. hot pink, neon green, etc.) can be very Emo too. Be sure to straighten, and tease it to make it crazy.

Get horn-rimmed glasses (don't wear thick black frames or the geeks will come around and break your legs).
If you don't wear prescription make an effort and wear glasses anyway, you won't get respect unless you make the effort. You can also buy glasses with non-prescription lenses. But don't wear fake glasses, or you'll be considered a poser, only wear the glasses if you need glasses.

Wear skin tight clothes, regardless of how fat you are. You have various options: black/dark skinny jeans work great with white studded belts and an emo band shirt (especially if you're a bit on the big side), or even a plain black shirt. Tight Fullbleed shirts usually work as well. If you don't like jeans, you may substitute a skirt as well, so long as it isn't preppy. A goth or emo skirt from emo shops work well too. Any tight pants are Emo.
Wear black eyeliner and other dark makeup. Be sure not to use too little... or much, or else it may look slutty. Dark eye shadow, black eyeliner, and black mascara usually work the best. A little brightly colored eyeliner underneath the black eyeliner looks good too.
Consider buying a pair of Converses or Vans - you can decorate your shoes with white out pen/permanent marker if you want. Or you can duct tape or draw on them. Etnies are good too. Nike or any other running shoe that is made with child labor will work too, but only if they look like they're several years old and broken in.

well im not a writer, artist, or have ever made any awesome quotes but i can tell you about myself in other ways.
